LIGHT BLUE Modeling Paste EXP 9/30/23*
Our top quality Award Winning Modelling Paste gives excellent results.
Our paste contains cocoa butter. This assists with initial stiffening when modelling. It does not dry out immediately which offers you time to easily correct any imperfections.
Our modelling paste is extremely elastic and strong. It can be modelled without cracking. Bend and shape pieces as you wish without fear of breaking due to its unique elasticity. When worked it maintains its form. Its high concentration of cocoa butter allows projects to harden quickly without drying out like traditional modeling pastes, making it easy to correct any mistakes.
It can be finely moulded which assists with delicate work such as laces, moulds and small flowers, Ideal for modeling 3D figures and toppers It also has a subtle aroma and taste.
It can be easily mixed with gel and powder colours.
- Prepare by kneading and working until soft and pliable.
- It is normal for the paste to feel hard when un-packaged.
- Model as required.
- Apply to your prepared cake.
DISCLAIMER: Due to weather during transit, the fat (cocoa butter) may separate from the Pasta Model, much like how chocolate may have white splotches on the surface due to the same effect. Simply knead the cocoa butter back into the Pasta Model thoroughly before use***
Ingredients: Sugar, potato starch, glucose syrup, cocoa butter, cocoa powder 22/24%, maize starch
thickener: carboxymethylcellulose (E466), preservative: potassium sorbate (E202).
Please note: Saracino is a very firm modeling paste and may need a couple of seconds in the microwave to help knead into a soft pliable paste. REMOVE PLASTIC PACKAGING BEFORE MICROWAVING
ALSO NOTE: As we move into the warmer months, Saracino (and other products like it) are susceptible to heat and may soften during transport.
You may also experience the following:
An oily residue inside the packaging. These are natural oils that will reabsorb into the Pasta Model as it returns to room temperature. You can expedite the process by manually kneading it back into the product.
A powdery white/cream colored film inside the packaging or on the Pasta Model itself.
This is a combination of the cocoa butter and potato starch “blooming” on the surface due to heat and then returning to room temperature.
Microwaving for up to five seconds and kneading the Pasta Model will reconstitute the cocoa butter and potato starch back into the product. REMOVE PLASTIC PACKAGING BEFORE MICROWAVING.
